November 29, 2006
Bobbi Clapp passed along this link to some teen blogs libraries around the country have set up. Might be worth a look if you are thinking of trying this for your teens. It’s the rage!

Just want to say that our Great Stories Book club at the PHS library for teens has been going very well. We have had as many as 12 to as little as 7 for each of our discussion groups. We are going to continue the program into the winter of next year.

Like it or not, since all the teens seem to be on MySpace anyway, I decided to set up our Teen “blog” on MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/howlandyouth. It’s still a work in progress but it’s starting to get more and more use. —Ginny-Howland Public Library

Sorry, I noticed that the site doesn’t come up from the above comment, but that is the correct address if you want to try typing it in yourself.—Ginny
